Baaaaaa – but the Naners were Good June 27, 2010

Had a most enjoyable evening at my friend Kurt’s 50th. Drank beer (which I haven’t done much of lately), ate cupcakes, had jello shots, and taste tested Curry Crusted Bananas on the party goers. Ended up having a strange dream that involved hearing a baby crying in the other room and it turned out to be a goat. It culminated with a friend telling me he had put the goat in the house as a joke. Here is the “official” dream internet description. But aren’t goats considered kids? So the baby crying would be a kid right?

I’m thinking alcohol and cupcakes just don’t mix. baaaaaaa

Goat

To see a goat in your dream, represents your lack of judgment and your gullibility.  Also consider the associations with the goat as in “scapegoat” or “getting someone’s goat”. Do you feel that you have been blamed for someone else’s deed?

Curry Crusted Bananas – by Paula Deen

Ingredients

  • 4 firm bananas, peeled
  • 6 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 2 cups crushed cornflakes
  • Sugar, for sprinkling, optional

Directions

Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.

Halve the bananas lengthwise, then crosswise. In a bowl, mix the butter and curry powder. Dip the bananas in the butter, coat well. Roll the bananas in the cornflakes until completely coated. Sprinkle with sugar, if desired. Place the bananas in a greased baking dish and bake for 10 minutes.

Laugh, learn and liven up your taste buds!
